If you’re on the hunt for real Colorado adventure, look no further than Kremmling, CO – a western wilderness filled with breathtaking scenery, roaring rapids, and inviting expanses of unspoiled terrain where the wildlife vastly outnumbers the human population. Kremmling scenery is not only stunning but also of geological importance. Kremmling contains fossils of long-gone ammonites that can be found among the rocks. The Colorado Scenic Byway cuts through Kremmling and continues over the scenic Trough Road to State Bridge.
It is close to three national forests: Routt, Arapaho and White River. The Blue River, the Colorado River and Muddy Creek all pass through town, too, offering ample whitewater adventures for kayakers and rafters as well as some excellent fishing spots.
